A picture of how the Grey Stanadyne connector should be in the Technical Library.

I post it here and it made it there.

Had failure on two black stanadyne about 2 months apart. I just got a FS from Leroy, and been running good. I got the FS for the simple reason that I don't have to mess with another harness, or try to mess around filing tabs.

Has anybody here run them inside the cab?

Yup. Ask 3bals. We had to pull over at a middle-of-nowhere exit/gas station in Nevada on the way back from Reno with his new (to him) 6.5TD powered motor home and pop the doghouse, disconnect the plug from the failed Stanadyne PMDon the IP, plug in the harness from Heath's remote kit, run it up over the engine and out at the front passenger corner of the dog hole, and then replace the doghouse all while squatting on the floor with a flashlight in our mouth in the middle of the night. Ran all the way back to Minnesota with the Heath heatsink assy on the passenger floor by the heater vent for airflow (and so it would be out of the way of the feet of the person riding shotgun) with no problems.
