Squealing/high pitch squeaking noise under hood

Gotta be a Bearing on one of the Pulley's. Pop the Belt and Spin them by Hand to see if you can Find it.

It's not belt chirp is it? A new belt I got chirped, even after 20,000 miles. Put the old one back on and chirping stopped.

Your all Losers....Mad Maxx was the closest with the "Check all the pully's vote"......Turns out the Vac pump siezed up and the belt was sliding over the pully, hence the squealing noise.

I thought most of you guys would of went with vac pump, considering their history.

All I found there was the steel pieces from the trucks Lift Gate that I slid into last december.....Shrapnel still falls out when I hit a pot hole.:???:

So you are getting the shorter "quiet" belt rather then the noisy long belt and do without the 'silent' locked up vac pump? My vac pump makes a little air whistle noise when it turns over... (But it isn't going back on.) :hihi:

This is the 2nd after yours....turns out Cardone reman units are poor quality....good thing AZ has a 12 month warranty on these junk pumps.

This last one was put on in march....9 months of service, what a joke.


The TM is behind my seat and my belt is got to be glazed, heated and streched.....So the next trip to AZ will be for the 99.5 belt and then I could put the TM on.
