home made Inj pump turning tool and nut wrench:
Just some bent up round stock, a bit of work with the welder, an old grinder handle and a spray of black engine enamel.
Machined myself a socket to hold the 5 degree turn gear wrench head (reverses by pulling it out and turning it around), a bit of round stock, another couple passes with the MIG, an old tool handle and another shot of black enamel.
No reason home made tools can't be functional and look good!
Great thing is, now I can adjust the pump on my 98 without removing anything except the upper intake horn. I can even get to the nuts with the dual stat housing and the AC pump in place. I just shaped the tools very carefully.
I also have a 17mm flex head gear wrench that lends a hand from time to time:
