Vacuum tubes of the solar collector, outside -32°C, the copper tube heated up in the sun about +100°C. the snow melts and boils. Next, these tubes are inserted into the collector where the coolant takes this heat and transfers it inside the house/garage. each tube produces approximately 100 watts of heat.

You can heat water for household purposes and use it for water heating.

There is no water in the tube. The coolant, antifreeze, circulates in the collector. The antifreeze is heated by this copper tube. When the temperature of the antifreeze increases, the circulation pump turns on and transfers heat from the collector to the storage tank. When night falls, the temperature will drop and the sensor will turn off the circulation pump. The accumulated heat will remain in the storage tank. The glass pipe consists of two pipes inserted into one another, there is a vacuum between them, the inner pipe has an absorbent coating, the inner part is covered with copper plating, the heat from the sun is locked in the inner tube, transferred through an aluminum radiator to the copper tube.

My manifold is designed for 20 tubes, I ordered 22 tubes, the shipping company smashed 2 tubes into pieces and one tube was damaged - loss of vacuum.
A tube with lost vacuum could not heat the internal copper evaporator, the presence of vacuum is very important.

This installation for 20 tubes costs from $300 to $700. depends on the greed of the supplier.
One spare tube costs $10-15
