Soft Tonneau custom shortening

I have a Extang Full-Tilt tonneau cover that fits my truck. I added a toolbox and backrack last summer and have since been missing my tonneau. You can buy tool box tonneaus, but they are about 420 bucks. The cover i have i bought about 5 years ago (about 400 bucks). Was wondering if anyone here was into custom work like this? Id like to get it shortened to fit behind the tool box.

Here's a place to look Mike. They have a bunch of selections and at least 1 that does what you are talking about. At least for ideas anyhow.

Thanks, ive been looking at Ex-tangs website since they make my exact cover in the model i want in order for it to fit with the box. Just dont want to spend $450 on a shorter cover when i have the same one in good shape thats just too long.

So far ive got a line on a guy who does boat canvas and interior repairs. With all the ordeal of the accident i havent touched the truck lately, im dying to get back into it.

Don't just look at the boat top shops but also the tent and awning shops too. That is where i find the best prices for alterations to already built canvas and vinyl goods. Not so specialized so they charge less.

Ok thanks, i havent done anything about it yet due to some extra costs ive been spending on the turbo swap, but it would be very nice to get it doen before winter.
