I've got EFI, downloaded and uploaded some tunes.

What can I do with EFI Box standalone? Or with the computer?

As far as switching tunes, can I do this though my EFI Controller?

if you had an LLY or LB7 you could switch between five tunes with DSP5. I think they wil have that for LBZ in the near future. Until then you have to run one tune at a time. I hope this is what you were getting at. Help me out Nick!

I do hope somebody chimes in on this, Ive wondered what I can and cant do with the flashscan tool itself.

It looks like it has tons of features but all ive ever used is the diagnostics tool.

The DSP5 is really nice, except for the fact that the transmission resets the TAPS every time you switch between a tune. Hopefully someday they will make one for the LBZ. Until then at least us LB7 guys have something to brag about.

You have two Taps setups. I run my milage tune in drive and My 500 HP tune in tow haul. It has two learning curve setups. About the only other things I know you can do with the flashscan is adjusttire size and block the egr.

can the lmm set 2 tunes. one in drive and 1 in t/h. if so how?

It's not actually two tunes. When you enable Tow/Haul mode it tells the TCM to function "differently". The differences that I know off the top of my head is increased line pressure (good for more holding power) and a different gear shifting patterns. Basically want you want to do is train your Allison in one setting (either T/H mode or normal) to beat on with tons of power. Most of the time people choose T/H mode being it helps line pressure.

There are actually 5 different Allison Tunes.

A. Regular
B. T/H
C. 4x4 Hi
D. 4x4 Hi T/H
E. 4x4 LO

They are all different as far a shift points and TCC lockup points, otherwise basically the same.

est advice I can give anyone is never use EFI Live with another tuner. Its hassle that you simply dont need.

EFI Live does everything for you why bother with another tuner. It will just make it very hard to tune.

EFI for the 5 speed trucks can load a 2 or 5 position tune into the truck for "on the fly" changes.

6 speed trucks are still stuck with loading one tune at a time. Hopefully someday, there will be an option for us 6 speed guys.

I hope so to. I've heard that we may beable to switch by the V2 itself in the future?
