so i screwed up

Ya we have a wire welder so I made the elbow myself then used a 6.5 downpipe from warpspeed from there. The welds arent the greatest looking I dont think our welder has the rite wire in it for that thin of a metal but they'll hold fine. I haven't had time to hook up my stacks yet. I gotta get a piece of flex to connect them so rite now its jus comin out of the down pipe lol. pretty loud in the cab lol.

The turbo is an hx 35 off a cummins motor. It sounds really good lol I love it so far. I'll get my crossover fixed sometime but it builds up jus fine rite now cruises around 4 or 5.

Ya I prolly should fab up a box I never thought about it suckin in hot air. I'd like to get water mist sometime but it'll be winter here pretty soon.

Where should I relocate my pmd too?? thats where it was when I bought the truck.

You guys will have to help me out with puttin a video on here. I'll have to find someone thats got a more up to date camera than we have ours is a lil old I suppose there would be a way to hook it straight up to the computer.
 
you got arp head studs on this engine. also i thought your running a stock computer so are you getting any overboost codes. i thought hx35's made more than 15psi at wot

My exhaust is too loud in the cab for me and I have a 5" straight through muffler on it and it goes out the side. I'm adding another inline muffler.

I can't believe yours isn't killing your ears/head.

Inside the bumper nostril, or even just behind the bumper. Just get it out of the engine compartment, or you'll be dealing with PMD/FSD issues next. You can use the heat sink it's on, you just need an extension cable.
 
I might get a code if i floor it lol. Ya I added arp headstuds. I've got a turbo master on the wastegate I made and that crossover pipe is leaking or it would make more. I'll fill my sig out later today. it's a 95 2500 4x4 188k
 
PM received and the cable is boxed and will be on the way Monday. I addressed it to "6.5 CoalRoller" so you might want to give your postman a heads up.

The hot air is not THAT big of a deal - I would guess you won't notice (by seat of pants anyway) any gains in performance.

But, if you're fabbin anyway, what the heck?

Just get the right welder for the job, or a least open the valve on the gas bottle! :D

sorry, I couldn't resist a little ribbing on those dirt dobber welds.

Glad to hear your problems were just minor stuff - sounds like the kinda luck I have.
