I got everything back together on my truck this afternoon and started it up. Coolant flooded the floor leaking out the head gasket on the driver side very badly guess I didnt get it clean enough or somethin so now i gotta tear it back down:mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2:

Everything else seemed to work alright. I think i may have a manifold leak but thats bout it. truck was running a lil rought but i'm guessing that may have somethin to do wit the head gasket issue.

Ouch, sorry to hear that! Sounds like my kind of luck.. Hope ya get it all fixed up!

ok so now that i've been sniffing rocks in the driveway for a half hour and fixed the radiator hose leak I think i've got a pretty good sized diesel leak. it sprays out and comes down off the starter when reving the engine but idk where it's comin from. any ideas? i suppose i'll have to take the intake off and look.

heck idk only thing i can figure out is an injector line on the pump or a return line or somethin at the back of the engine. all the return lines on the injectors are fine and all the injectors are fine i'm guessing the problem is on top of the engine under the intake where I cant see. are there any lines around the starter???

Did the cap on #8 injector come off?

Also check the rubber line that connects the IP return to tank and from tank to filter manager. They could leak over the passenger side of the trans and run down there. If it is leaking in the valley the drain is on the other side over the oil filter.

Isnt the drain for the valley only on certain blocks? Ive found it on the manual trans blocks.........but idk about the autos.

x2 on the return line and the #8 injector, check all the rubber lines, and even your fuel filter

I have a drain hole on my 599 block that came out of a 1 ton. Not sure if it came out of an auto or manual trans truck tho...

Well I got the intake off and found my leaking line must have just had a brain fart and forgot to tighten one on the back of the pump. My truck runs great now only got a couple things i gotta do to finish. I'm gettin bout 5-7 pounds boost on accelleration and around 15 max I think i'd get a lil more on acc. but I broke one of the bolts for the crossover pipe on the passenger side and now it's leakin a lil. You can definitely hear the turbo tho once I get my exhaust hooked up it'll sound better i'm not sure what to do bout that leak tho I drilled it out and was gonna tap it and put a new bolt in but then the freakin tap broke.

I can't wait till you have a video of this turbo and hear the feedback on this:thumbsup:

I think you will be happy with it.:D

Get that FSD outta the engine compartment!!!
Glad you are up and running again. PM me your address and I'll send you the extra harness I have (Kennedy). It's not 72" (48" IIRC) but at least you can get the FSD outa the engine compartment. I was able to get it to the bumper but the routing was a little tight. More gravel sniffing.
