Sluggish smokey cold start - APPS gives minimal response on 1996 6.5L

I just tested my big + wire amps and it's at 109 amps when GP are on. That's 13.625a per plug. When testing a few individual plugs it's ~15.x amps. I found that the one that's hardest to reach is only drawing 2.8a so that's the suspect. Of course it's behind my 4" downpipe but I could reach the connector from underneath. First I tested the wire was getting power from relay then replaced the connector and reconnected. It now draws 15.9a.
Now the big wire to relay is pushing 121a. Roughly 15.1a each plug. We'll see how tomorrow morning's cold start goes. Unfortunately it's not very cold outside anymore, in the 40s but I bet it will be improved. If I get to higher elevation or another cold front comes soon it will be a better test :(

Pull the plugs.

When you have plugs that are acting up it could be your only warning before destroying a piston, the cylinder wall, the head, etc.

If you think I’m joking or exaggerating- lmk. I will walk out to the garage and take a pic for you.
Thank you for the warning. First am eliminating all other possibilities but that will be next.
I just dug up my original plugs which I replaced with the Bosch and found the boxes for the Bosches and found there's a way to check if they're legit Bosch. You type in the code on their website. Fortunately mine checked out. I guess the number could be copied from legit Bosch and then slapped on these boxes but that'd be a lot of work for the counterfeiters. All of my codes were different so I may be lucky so far. It's been about 20k+ miles so far.

And it turns out my old plugs were delco 60gs and I had the problem back then too🤦🏻‍♂️. I forget if I checked if all 8 were working 100% when I put in the Bosches but they're working now so we'll see. Should have checked sooner it only took 2 hrs. Maybe that one cyl not getting heated caused my issues🤞🏻

Both bosch and ac delco say you have to ship them suspect parts for inspection.
Talking to bosch back when my piston was destroyed, they have to do a metallurgy test to verify if they are real or knock offs.
No disrespect but there is nothing you or I can do to identify if they are real ones or knock offs.

The math doesn’t add up already on the electrical side and a single bad glow plug can destroy the engine. Your truck, your decision obviously. But you are playing with fire right now. My suggestion is replace them before you crank the engine over one more time.
