Nick,

You definitely have a a better grasp of the English language than most US citizens... even though you are transplant from Germany...

You ever thought of becoming a writer?

anyway...don't forget to give me a bit of notice before you come through the Ms Gulf coast area/New Orleans...

one of my best friends in Detroit is the Contributing Editor for the 3rd largest internet car mag, and i believe that being a writer is a sweet job. i really enjoy writing here and am getting a grasp as to how much work it is - and i am doing it just for fun....
But right now that industry is not doing so well either, but i definitely would think about such an opportunity.

Thanks pepp for the props and i will definitely let you know when i get close to your area.

Actually I was referring to the picture with the Burb behind you, with you in front it just looks like a Mini Cooper.

Ahhh, helping to finance the long trip???? Good stuff, but we all already know the story :)

Maxxtorque is the only magazine I have ever subscribed to.

Outstanding article buddy! I just loved reading it. Wishing you a great and fun trip. My first trip in the Burb was from Elizabeth, NJ all the way across this great nation to Portland, OR. Great trip. I'm sure you'll have a great trip too.

-Rob :)

Nick,

I just came back home after a vacation in Sydney - Australia.
I have a nice postcard on the fridge ;)

BTW, did you photoshop the burb to make her appear smaller or are you that tall ?
Better be your friend than your enemy eh ? :D

Hope you enjoy your trip Dude

Nice article, Nick! Congrats on making it into print!

Jim

PS - you better get up into Canada...

Now thats cool!
you did a fine job of representing the 6.5 crowd.

Yeah, I was going to ask about the pic of you standing in front of the burb. The headlights appear to be lower than your butt.... It must be a edited photo or your friggin 7 foot tall! :D

You are 2" high, Odlaw... now you know why we keep the comments about his lovely wife to a minimum!

OK, dumb question. How do I follow the progress of your trip. Do you have a real time lay out on a map?

I call dibbs on the second issue out as im sure you already have the first one. Thats just friggin awesome! Let the 6.5 live on!
