I drive a 2002 Chevy S10, dropped 2 1/2 inches with American Racing mags and, of all things, whitewalls. I am trying to get the seat bolts out so I can use longer bolts to raise the seat an inch. Short body, and I want to look over the hood. Has anyone removed the bolts? How?

Seat bolts usually have some "body goo/glue" on them and are a little tough to turn until completely out. I took the seat out of my 97 K2500 and it was just elbow work nothing too hard.

What do you see special about the S10 bolts?

Thanks for the response, but it's the bolts themselves that come up from under the truck I want to take out and replace with longer bolts so I can raise the seat. I don't know if they are welded in or are rivets, but they seem to be relatively permanently fixed.

Not permanently fixed, just way tight. Do you have an air compressor and 1/2" impact?

I don't remember them going in from the bottom, but I did not sleep in a holiday inn last night, so there ya go.
