replacement injector pump and a couple other questions

Wonder what the lifters with oil pressure add to where the valve closes and it has to clear the piston.

The change on my truck was immediate with a pump change from simply no hot start to needing lots of advance to run.

Same brand here and, yes, they do stretch out a lot in 30K miles.

Thank you! On another note, after pulling the engine and putting new rings in it, there was no significant increase in compression. so, i have pulled the heads and put a suction cup and vacuum tool on it and, guess what all the valves are leaking. obviously the retard who "rebuilt" my heads didnt do it right. off to the machine shop they go....

Yep, but make sure you put them in the right way, copper end up.

Its copper coloured and good question, never checked that, hmmmm.
