Bought a new FSD from Pennascola. Had a big piece of aluminum heat sink laying around my shop and fabbed up a remote cooler and mounted behind license plate. Got a 6' extension harness. What's the best way to run from the IP to the front bumper?

from the pump by the brake reservoir down behind the battery and back up to the bumper where you want it and use small zip ties easy way or you cold try to route it and hid it but who is under your hood working on this thing you or the mechanic down the road and why not make it easy to get too if there is a problem just my .02 Jerry

Great Question

I have often wondered this.

I see most kits come with a 6ft extension and the route carolinacountyboy suggests would exceed this, wouldn't it?

I have mine in the air box but think it needs to be moved to the bumper. I would make my own cable and like the carolinacountyboy route, but this must be at least 10'. Can the extension be that long? If so, do you have to change the wire gauge?

I routed together out towards the alternator (driver side on 95). Zip tie it with those cable, go down in between the battery and fan shroud to outside.

6' have some left over.

I zip-tied mine to the battery ground on the driver's side, then ran it down beside the battery to the core support and along the top lip of the core support to the middle of the bumper plugged into the FSD. I made my own extension but it wasn't any longer than 6'. I also had some slack/extra length.

Mine is run pretty much like this and I have some "slack" too......
