When I start my truck up in the mornings, it stays running all day long. Once it gets up to operating temp. and is shut off it refuses to start. So far we have new PMD with heat sync, new lift pump, new ops, lifters, rockers, push rods, fuel lines, starter, batteries, cleaned all grounds. Have checked CTS and checked out good. About the only thing I haven't done yet is replace the IP. This is where I think my problem lies, because if I trickle water over the IP, the truck will start up normally. Any ideas or solutions?

IP=Death.
water trick confirms it. Basically IIRC the IP becomes worn internally and the metal expands when hot and it looses head pressure or something like that. when you order another one be careful to make sure it's the right one. You have a 94 so you could have a 5068 IP or it may have a 5521. Differnt programming.

I have the 5068 that has been green tagged (updated) Don't know how long it's been on truck. Considering changing out the eprom chip to accept the more readily avail. 5521 pump.

Good Idea. You can get a rebuild pretty cheap rom Pensacola. Lot of people have used them with no issues. No core IIRC either.
