I've got my Gm-8 sitting in the garage after being retired due to an ATT install. The truck has since been sold due to a love affair with an 01 Duramax!
Anyway, I have tried twice to sell the -8 with TurboMaster with no luck. It does have 150K on it with a bit of shaft play. I'm thinking to "move it along' I need to do a rebuild. I see the kits on ebay for around 100.00. Question: what is involved with the rebuild? Any special tools needed or a press? Any reason not to do it?
