once the clutch is working, you can just leave your plow high up instead of playing games driving all skitish because your plow is 1/2 " off the pavement skipping off of everything...

Hey, buddy pointed out to me that the o mark on the tach is actually 500rpm, i thought it was zero. Thanks Tho! btw, i do have the correct pulley, i took it off another 6.5

I would still measure across it - 2 5/8ths is what you want. Of the three 6.5's in my area that I personally know - all of em have the wrong pulley.

Yeah, don't feel stupid - I thought the same thing for over a year(regarding the tach actually starting at 500 rpm) - then one day I ACTUALLY read the numbers and counted the tick marks. :rolleyes5:

has anybody

anybody done away with the fan altogether and put 2 elect fans on the radiator? 1 for regular use and 1 on a switch for hard pulling or plow usage? i am thinkinh of a plow for my burban but dont want 2 toast it,
