pump #'s

Howdy yall, Got a tough one for everyone..........
I have a DS4 4831 5221 IP. I cannot find this number anywhere. It was installed somewhere between 2003 and 2007 PO could not remember for sure. :mad2: It works well with a BMRM chip 94, K3500, 4L80E trans, 12,00 GVW, 4x4, F code. SO I am assuming it is a replacemnet for 5067, 5288, 5459, 5521 pump series. Anyone seen/ heard of this pump number???????????

Thats the list I went by first and then looked at stanadyne site too. Nice list by ratman. Just wnodering if there was any newer versions of the list out there that one is dated 2001

I have never heard of (or seen) a DS4 with the 5221 suffix. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist, -although it doesn't show up on the stanadyne list either.

As one of the guys pointed out, maybe it was mis-stamped????

I am sure there are newer lists out there. I copied and pasted that list several years ago (sorry I can't take credit for making the list, I merely "borrowed" it) ):h

I've just brought a new IP, Its stamped it was made in 2009 and the number on it that is like yours but only one 4..... J9 "DS4 831-5521S" this is with the newest PMD the grey coloured one. can try & get a picture of it you wish.

Thanks. Ive heard of the "S" suffix somewhere but cannot remember what it stands for. IIRC the color of the tag is supposed to tell you if it is new or rebuilt but I cant remember that info either.............

You know mine didnt even come with a tag on it, and SSD told me to trust its a 5521 and the supplier had run out of the metal tags. So the rebuilders may be labeling things wrong, they make the tags.
