Problem installing Heath Turbo Master on GM4

I took it out last night and the truck seems to respond well again during acceleration and no SES light under load like I was getting before. I'll check for codes to be sure. I need to get one of the kids to run the throttle and let me monitor the actuator, but it seems that the short throw is fine, as you suggested. The boost bolt came in today from Leroy so I plan to install a boost gauge this weekend. Thanks for all of the help!

You probably won't see it move until the engine is under a load. Maybe your kid has a GoPro?

Ah. Well, that won't work. I'll just wait till the boost gauge is in, then.

There will be SES or DTC with TurboMaster because you will be overboost at certain speed.
That is normal.
The DTC will Wastegate something.

No, you will not see any movement of the wastegate till you get around 50 to 70 mph because that is when it is opened.
Even that, the movement will be about 1/16" or less.
You should be able to hear whistle when pushing the gas pedal.
