i been tossing around selling my truck to upgrade to an 8ft bed and came across a sweet 2000 k3500 8ft bed crew cab single rear axle with the whole nine yards....lifted 6", boost & pyro pillar gauges, big tires, 3" down pipe with 4" exhaust straight back, cooling system upgrade, pmd cooler with #9 resister, chipped i believe, exhaust, ect., and spotless. almost couldn't ask for a better find. just wondering what something like that would be worth? has 98,000 miles. he says he gets about 21mpg and use to tow his old 9000lbs boat and he didn't even know it was behind him. test drove it and it shifts good and runs like a cadillac. the dash is cracked, brake light is on because he said he pulled the abs fuse, temp controls only work on hi and low....no mediums, and there are some wires hanging around exposed from other lights and what not he use to have. under body has minimal rust. he has 2 other chevy gas job trucks and 2 cars and sold his boat so he said it spends most time in the garage and don't get used anymore. hes a picture. he told me to throw a price out first, but not sure whats reasonable to start with?

kelly blue book says that truck stock in excellent condition is worth about $8700 and around $8200 in good....but thats without the lift tires gauges ect....

use the nada kelley is used by the dealers when they are trying to sell and nada when they are doing a trade in. Most banks use nada

Take it for a spin to the nearest dealer & ask what the trade in value is, then go from there. Not that you will get it for that value but at least you will have an idea what you will get if ya have to sell it. Normally extras are not valued at sale, most that buy used & pay top dollar prefer stock unmolested.

Nice looking truck!

wow...nada says clean trade-in is worth $7650 and clean retail is $10450. the truck is in PA

well thats along ways away but for that truck i think i would be willing to take the trip!! that is if you dont buy it you saw it first! who am i kidding i dont even have the money to rebuild mine

well all 6.5 owners know its nothing to compare to a d-max or and newer diesel but it is a great runner and gets good mpg. the heaviest i would be towing would be a boat thats around 5000lbs and my 98 6.5 tows that like nothing. otherwise i would use the bed
