Need a power window switch for the passenger side for a 94 yukon. Switch works to go down but not up. Driver side works fine to control passenger window. Autozone or O'reill'ys does not have it. Rockauto has it but no picture. Would like to be sure before ordering and would prefer local but will order online.

I can't help on part number, but before you order one... I've taken numerous switches apart and simply cleaned them real good. But 'em back together and they worked fine. I've used all kinds of things to clean them - even shooting them with brake cleaner. Just a thought, before you spend the money.

:iagree:
Use a small jewelers screwdriver to disassemble the switch, laying the parts out in order of disassembly. Inspect the parts for any burns and such to see if there is damage. If not, then use a number two pencil eraser to clean the metal contacts initially and then blast them clean of debris with electrical parts cleaner which dries quick with out leaving a residual film (brake cleaner works as a substitute). Reassemble and see what happens. You may be out an hour or so worth of time but you'll be ahead $$ wise...if it works which is a risk but what the heck, you'll learn something.

X3 on the fix,,, 20 years as a bodyman/Frameman,, and I've fixed at least 50 or so like this over the years. It's worth the try!!

Thanks. I will give the cleaning method a try. Another to add to the to-do-list.
