My son bought a brand new 2019 Dodge 3500 with the cummins. He had previous test drove a Dodge with the Hell Cat engine. Had two key fobs, red and black. I talked him into getting a little newer truck with less miles, not expecting Him to go all out.
He comes over with his new truck. Showing me to it. I asked him if it came with a red key fob. He mentioned that they dont have that option in the trucks.
He got some kind of a tuner device that controls from an app. Simple as punching buttons on a phone.
Thinking Dodge could have done the same thing with a key fob and charged at least ten grand more for that option.
