I've got some good recovery pics since then. not even 2 4wd trucks could pull me going down hill hehe, and to think i got 1 2wd truck stuck. must have done a good job, btw never use chain except as a last resort. Had one i thought was invulnerable and broke it like it was a thread.

I have only been stuck once in this truck. I was creeping slowly in tall grass trying to find the road to my deer stand and drove off into a mud hole the feral hogs created. Muddy pic is from where I knew where the mud hole was and drove thru it accordingly.

yea ..tall grass can definately hide some obstacles....makes me nervous driving through grass like that

That reminds me.

I don't have a picture, but I got my Dmax stuck to the axles in ugly mud in one of our pastures a couple of years ago. I pulled it out with our tractor.

yes it is a wonderful thing(gearing)..torque multiplier....those pics would have been nice..ohh well

Transmission line after the hurricane. in 4x4 with the hammer down the whole way. I passed a bucket truck getting pulled by a skidder.
The spool weighs about 3500lbs.
