here is my 4 gauge mounting, did'nt know where else to put them.As there aint a 4 gauge pillar pod to be had

Pyro and trans temp on top.
15 psi Boost and fuel press at bottom.
In center a license plate light from a dodge to illuminate the bottom gauges,as they have no lights of their own

they are in full sight from the seat.

does it pass scrunity? or does it look tacky?

FUNCTION FUNCTION FUNCTION YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Far too many folks are caught up in the "Have to have the latest goody yum from the corner hot rod shop.

Your setup looks clean and sanitary.. Way to go  :D :smile5:

As long as it works well and you are happy, this is the goal.

Best

Yeah, im in the looks issue right now, i bought a heath boost guage and now im in need of a pyro guage, but i need it to be the pricol series so it will match my boost guage. SInce they sit right next to each other...

I aint that Fussy as far as looks go. As long as it is practical and it tells me what I need to know.
the two bottom gauges are mech full sweep 15 psi, these where the only style i could find in 15 psi (no bezel mount or light) I gutted 2 old 2" gauges, cut hole in the backside for the fitting, put the whole new gauge right inside(fitted perfect) and crimped the bezel back on.
The pyro was the pricy one at $150,the tranny temp is a ordinairy $25 water temp gauge. The 2 press gauges where $13 apiece. $200 for the works.

In the 93/94, in the place of the radio system, I have (had) a plastic insert that was about 4 inches deep, to take the place of the radio. When I wanted to install my pyro and boost, I didn't want them sticking out anywhere where anything could hook them, and I wanted to keep the pillar free for another 3 gauges. So, A little cutting of the plastic, some wiring, and a little time with a chunk of MDF and some spray paint, and the gauges are nicely mounting in the dash out of the way.

Hey, that's pretty cool! I was going to put in a pillar 3-gauge setup, and probably a 'top of dash' pod as well, but your setup looks very usable.

Got any pics? I would like to see your set-up!

Very nice Mr. Bison. Well done. They are in view when you need to look at them to troubleshoot, or just verify everything is A-Ok...

Well done.

Here they are.
