Mad Maxx
See, what had happened was...
IIRC, I read a year or 2 ago that since damn near everyone had installed the PISK Kits then still even had the Pitman & Idler wear out, that the PISK Kits weren't really needed. Also, IIRC, some people said that they had even more problems after installing them, or that they did absolutely nothing.
Now...I just got done changing out my Idler Arm and the PISK wouldn't go back on because the Threads on my new Arm were different than the OE one, and I don't have the extra PISK Parts anymore.
So I went for a Drive and the Steering is better. Feels tighter. There was just enough play in the old Idler Stud that you could feel it move if you held it and tried to wiggle it.
So...is the PISK REALLY NEEDED, or not?
Who here DOESN'T have one installed and has not had any problems? Because there's TONS of Duramax's in my area, and I can guaran-damn-tee that none of them have PISK Kits, and they're all driving fine and straight down the road.
