I just saw the post you made you had deleted, I just want to say I don't feel we are arguing unless you feel I am to blame for the statement of what you read on Cognito's site, but I don't feel that way:smile5:. I just didn't feel you took the whole complete statement in and I was trying to help. Your post said you understand all of what people and Cognito suggest in re-building the front end with new parts if you have wear showing.
Maybe I can help you in another way and you can use the email address I posted to voice the concern side of what you felt with their product statement. The one thing I look at is this is what we do everyday all day and sometimes what come natural to us doesn't to others and we need to understand that. I try to all the time and was thinking in this issue of where you might be is to maybe help you figure out how to tell if you are a person in need of a new pitman or idler/ how to check so you don't have to take the vague term and not be sure for yourself.
My position is if you are going to point out the terms not being 100% helpful or mis-leading lets help others reading understand what to look for for the best results. Hands down in this after market world of HD trucks it's a battle of fitting stress per each truck user and what they are adding to there trucks. If we as truck owners did not change these trucks from OE form there would not be the need for us to talk about upgrades and I wouldn't have a job and most product would not be even thought of.My point is there are many pivot points on a IFS Chevy HD and the braces can only do so much and as we have seen over and over again these trucks have common issues and either you prepare or wait till a part brakes, how do you prepare? Read of the common issue's to look for other face and reflect to your truck and upgrade idea's.
Again back to helping you find out if you need a new replacement I myself took it for granted that you needed all new parts due to the first thread asking for better than stock. Maybe I should ask how many miles you have on your truck to better help you?
If you are not even wanting to conceder the Cognito upgrade I understand, sorry I just was not 100% clear because what the thread said that was deleted how you think they are a good idea but just feel there product statement needs to be more clear and not so miss leading from what you read. I am agreeing with you on that, my PM and post back to you at first was me feeling you copied half of it and didn't reflect the rest but as reading from what you are saying you did look at that as well, Sorry I just didn't think so.
TurboTahoe, I just don't want you to feel I am against you and your feelings/opinions and want to help. I just took what you posted wrong as I just stated above:cheers2:
