Old timer red-neck miss detector for those pesky misses that have no DTC

Well, having trouble finding that miss that there is no code for?

On 6.5 td obd2 systems with open intake just remove the upper intake and start that diesel use a good 5 foot length of 3/8" hose making sure not to get the hose or yourself caught up in the moving parts and like a stethoscope run one end down each intake runner about 1/2 way and put the other end to your ear you will find the miss works great everytime.

Remember as always use caution and at own risk!

That's for sure, however I'm amazed how quickly this worked.

I'm sure someone has done the tie getting caught routine perhaps the tube has some clips on it.
