OK who's gonna check out my new burb ?

Dave you can buy a slider (pretty cheap) and probably install it yourself......if it's the rubber gasket/molding......you can slip it in there with somw WD-40 and a rope...old timer had showed me this method.

In Canada A diesel Suburban will cost you $10,000 You ether buy it cheep and spend the money on it to get it the way you want it of you spend $10000 and and a really good one. I like the Pay $5000 spend $5000 then you know whats fixed.

YOu could be really original and drop a 6.5 in the dodge!!!

Rear slider makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD on NON-A/C Vehicles FWIW. Get glass coverage, smash it, and tell the company it was a slider... done deal.

Floor shift works almost instantly, but need to be rolling at around 3mph. I can hear the gears not synced until CLUnk, its engaged. But like I said, have to be rolling at around 3mph, or you waitin. Due to the long plowing hours required I have it down to a science.

By 98 GM had gone to gluing the rear windows in. My guess is that Dave's is a glue in as well.

These were used in the older body style (rubber grommet mount) our body dtyle, the erear glass is glued in and it is pretty steep to change

I hate sliding rear windows. I always took them out cause all the crap in the bed ends up in the cab.

Well... without A/C and power windows, its the best. just reach over and slide it open and the wind tears through the cab in a hurry. I have a huge steel grille separating my bed and slider, so no access, or no visability looking back there. I hope it never breaks, as you only have about 3 inches between, it wouldn't be a fun install.
