for the power steering pump and vacum pump? You dont have to do that i took the injector lines off battery out and the boost tube off and did it that way took like 3 hours for meThey shouldn't to pull the cam, but you damn near have to dissassemble the front of the truck to get it out.
Radiator support, radiator, intercooler, tranny cooler, PS cooler, condenser and fan all need to come out to get to that thing.
It's a PITA!
It is your vacume pump that is leakin the oil not the p/s pump you can get a seal kit on ebay for cheap not hard to do at all. i did one on my 96 and 99. take both pumps off together, two bolts on the timming cover and one on the side of the block on a bracket. then undo all the lines. there is no need to take the timing cover off the gear on the vacume pump will fit through the hole in the timing cover. then it a matter of taking the two pumps apart and resealing the vacume pump. take about 2-3 hours the first time.
