Now I'm done spending money

I had a caprice also....i ran 275s,,,and still coulda been a bit wider...but they looked good....I'd go with the 255s...I think the 255s are the stock with on the SSs right?...I used to know...been a while

I'll answer for him cause he's slackin..prolly stuffin his face...I think they are 245/50/17 and there's no lowering springs

No, I wasnt stuffing my face....My schedule is not what it used to be so I'm actually tired at night.

They're 245/50/18's. I had 245/45/18's and the ride was terrible. I gained quite a bit more sidewall by going to the 50's. 245/55/18's are what Marauders ran and that was what I was looking for but in an 18, apparently an awkward size, were at around $220 a piece to begin with...So basically, I dropped a grand on the rubber...Thats more than I wanted to spend.

If I could do it all over, I woulda gone with 17" rims instead. Way, way more choices in rubber with much more sidewall with a better ride. Now though, my speedo is off by ALOT...Like close to 10 mph at highway speeds.

About 45 minutes from Cocoa beach. I usually go to Melbourne though since its not as crowded.

Ahhh... No more winter salt, I NEED to move south!!

Oh Tim, I hear you there. Need to find myself a nice southern girl, or a nice Latina to shack up with, a job that pays me the same money, and I would be there in a second. The South is nice, I could live there.

Now about the salt, what about anyone living near the ocean, do their cars suffer the same, albeit less powerful affects, as our vehicles do up here?? The salt the crap out of the roads up here.
