Note to cruiser guys

Statistics over the years show more sport bikes get into wrecks on it than do cruisers......:yikes:

That I am sure is in no small part do to most cruiser guys are a bit older and more mature, more riding experaince and know their limits. To many of the young kids on the sport bikes, do not know their limits and believe they are immortal. Riden with respect on any type bike it is awsum. Some of the older (30 and up) sportbike riders can really haul thru it....

I totally understand that. Most squids can't even ride in a straight line, much less a turn. I got out of the highspeed group rides a long time ago. As a matter of fact, my last 2 highspeed rides (7ish years ago) ended with someone going down and life flight coming out. All due to "I'm a better rider than you and I'll prove it". Now my 'group' consists of me and.......me, sometimes one or two others, but that's it.

Here's a old video from Deals Gap, the people in the motorhome are funny to listen to.:smilielol5:

There is a guy who runs the dragon, 318 curves in 11 miles on a wing, he drags in every corner, just like my buddy on the Road king.

yep, me too.

this is called using up ALL your lean angle. I was making some sparky-sparks, but they didnt show up in the picture.

the FLH chassis is very nimble for a touring bike, but it must take a pure mainac to outrun a sportbike in the twisties.

Dam Tim, you use more of your lean angle than I do.......:blush5:

Looks like you would leave me in the dust on the Dragon.....
:blush2:

As my friend on the King tells me, your bike will lean and hold more than you have the guts to try......

I have found everthing on my wideglde that drags. Right turn -pipes-of coarse, I found this out the first time getting on the freeway with my new pipes. And on the left is the passenger footpeg bracket, the wifey really likes that!
