NMB2's pecker measuring contest 6.5/6.9

seriously, if you guys have any interest in learning from us, and us learning from you... and just general mutual BS back and forth about these pumps and engines.

Then forget the past, cut the BS, and move forward. I am willing to do it, I can't speak for racin but I don't see why he wouldn't be.

How many other guys do you know pushing these pumps like this? I know of 4... and they are all in this thread....

If we can't all agree to just be cordial with eachother, then this is pointless.

Oh. That small. No wonder you can boost so fast.

You need to find someone local to you with an 08 duramax that is bone stock. See how you compare to him from a 30mph to 120mph run.

This charger can support a lot more power than my engine has fuel for.

I know you're asking for an LMM comparison but the only modern truck comparisons I have since putting the new pump on is these:

bone stock LBZ my co-worker owns. My truck will easily walk it, at any speed, until I hit gov.

friend has an 06 F250 CCSB 4x4. Dynoed 428/820 the same day I dynoed 292/615. He could easily walk me before. We raced from a 30-35mph roll the other day and I stayed with him within 1/2 car length all the way to 100mph. Keep in mind he has about 800-1000lbs on me.... but better gearing.

An LMM isn't a good comparison as there is so many variables in them with DPF loading and passive regen. The LBZ is a good comparison to use. And the S300 turbo has supported many trucks in some form well into the 4 digit HP range(quite a few well north of 650 on fuel only). It's not ideal for these HP numbers, but they have been hit with them.

How much boost do you make at wide open throttle?

What all is done to your engine?

WOT I do 36psi with this charger on fuel. As for mods to my engine.... I just had a good rebuild, .030" over silvolites, shaved my pistons and coated them, studded my main caps, studded heads, studded intake manifold. build my own manifolds, charge pipes, turbo kit....aftermarket cam (our stock one sucks for turbo). 3" downpipe to 4" straight pipe, my DB4.... and that's it.

3300 rpms is kinda low for what I'm trying to do.

You could increase it if you chose to do so.

We deal with short stroke, so we need lotsa rpm. He has much more stroke, more rpm has tendancy to window block...

I limit it to 3300 because I have no reason to go higher, for the reasons stated above... I have a long stroke, I make power off idle to about 3500... there is no advantage for me to spin it higher. That being said we have had a few people spin these up past 4k...

Ever thought about doing the Diesel Page Pull Off ?

I haven't been a member for a couple of years now . Good test of towing power . You might do pretty good in it .

How about some drag times from this truck that will walk a stock Duramax?
