Hey Guys,

Just recently bought a 1996 Suburban with 106,000 miles. I ran into this forum a while ago trying to learn what to look for when buying a 6.5 equipped vehicle. My first experience with these engines was when I used to work for a GM dealer, but had no experience or any guidance when it came to diesels, back then. I now only work with industrial diesel engines, and have learned that they can be both easy and complicated. Hopefully this forum will give me the knowledge I will need to maintain, diagnose, and repair my new addition since I work on my own vehicles.
