I just found this excellent truck site and spent hours yesterday going through the posts. I am impressed with the knowledge and information available here.

I own a 2004 GMC 2500hd 4x4 sbec with a 8.1 / allison combo and love it. I pull a 24' Storm enclosed trailer so I watch any posts regarding towing and safety.

I had an '03 SCLB Chev with an 8.1/A. Loved it but went through 10 gal of gas every day...:eek: That's why I bought a Duramax.
Trouttrooper here has one and loves it.

Welcome. Have to tell you the main reason I stick around this forum more than any other is the level of maturity vs. some others I've seen. You'll get answers without a bunch of flaming or other crap.

Thanks for the nice welcome to the site. I really enjoy reading the various posts in the different sections. I have learned a wealth of information that will help me with my GMC 2500HD ECSB with a 8.1 / Allison.
