newbee...need help with my H1

PMD on the intake...Ughhh. where'd you buy it SS Diesel ? That is a good place to start. Putting it on the intake is worse than leaving it on the IP. You need to relocate outside the engine compt. Both Heath and PMDcable.com sell kits as well as others. Some guys even make thier own. I would start there.

Thanks Ace for the referal. I appreciate it very much.
Alpha If I can help let me know.

Edit: I just noticed this had a page two. I did not see you had bought your PMD/cable already.
Glad it looks like you are back up and running again.

On an H1 it takes some serious looking just to find the engine.

I have seen the underhood on these things and they are tight for sure.

I would mount the PMD on a cooler somewhere up to the front of the engine bay, forward of the lower front edge of the radiator.

There should be a nice little spot there that will get a cool breeze.

The stalling and no/hard restart is definately a PMD symptom.

Yep, it should be mounted to a heat sink also.

If you find a good place for it messure the distance of the cable you need. I will make a custom cable for you if needed. I would imagine the 6' er will do, but if you need longer let me know. Thanks.
Leroy.
