OK I have secured a new intake hose set up for the A-TEAM Turbo. I am still in negotiations to get a hose made. In the interim I have used set up that Matuva has been using and I like it. Thanks Al

All orders from this date on will be 25 dollars more for the upgraded intake setup. I am not supplying the hose clamps (don't ask). I will post a picture later with Al's permission.

The updated price is minimal considering the new hose setup cost to me. I hope this settles the issue. We will be offering the hose as a upgraded replacement to current owners at cost in the very near future. You will be surprised how much silicone cost.

Also will be offering the turbo without the hose setup at a yet to be determined price, for those of you that have intercoolers.

More to come

No, not really. I think a friend of mine spent $10K on his wife:D

I dont have a turbo that needs silicone but the girlfriend has $5000 invested in the improved non silicone saline type! LOL I am dead if she reads this......I think its well worth $10000!!!!! On our first date she finally asked if I knew what color her eyes were cause I apparently was doing a bad job of non verbal communication!!!! LOL

Love the support you guys show the 6.5 crowd!

Not saying put me first in line, but, I need one badly. How soon before they can ship?

IMG_20110710_090240.jpgNew turbo hose view, needs a little trimming to make the hose a good eye candy piece. Still working on a formed hose just waiting for the quote.

I am looking at having a one piece hose made, got the quote today. maybe another five to ten bucks on top of the 25 I already spent sos a total of 30 dollars gets a one piece american made hose that fits exactly. This and shipping is killing me.

SO one piece custom made American hose or two piece 45 degree angles. what say we?

Well if you do two piece 45's then you would have to run some sort of coupler and four clamps. One piece would only be two clamps and look much cleaneer. But then again I kind of like the two hump hose setup and reusing the piece of intake that you cut off, that's just me though.

I couldn't wait. I just installed this:

Headed out for a driving vacaction with the wife and dogs and could not wait. Did some boost test runs around town and it's holding just fine. Still need to address leak on wiper washer bottle and replace the left front ABS sensor before we can pack and go.

1 piece.

Because it is quicker and less bolts to take out when I have to fix a rocker oil leak, remove a cratered engine :rolleyes5: , etc.

That one piece would be pretty slick and thats what I would do. I think it would be better custom made single piece, as you can make it a little smaller/shorter. With the two 45s it looks like the turbo output is angled a little higher and may not fit the stock CDR tubing over.
