Hi, I finally found a 6.5 forum that isnt solely hosted by a business trying to peddle their products. I have owned my 97 2500 TD for five years and had most of the ordinary problems with these diesels. I solved most of them until the oil cooler line came off the bracked and doomed the motor. The wife insists I allowed this to happen. Anyway I got a Teds motor and have it installed with fluid dampner new injectors, IP, FS 2500, Stainless braid cooler lines, new radiator, water pump, turbo, water injection, and guages. Theres more but cant think of everything. I havent started it yet as I have the header panel out for sandblasting and had to finish a siding job. I'm dying to get my truck back and weld in the rotton cab corner on the pass side. I have pics but camera and truck are in Jersey and Im working elsewhere. Anyway this site has the knowledge I need to finish my project and after reading a few threads I might take a step or two back and make some minor changes.
