New IP installed now P0251 & P0370

Maybe, if you are up to changing it Heath can send you just the OP. Sure would be a lot less hassle.

Optical sensor needs to be set up properly on a test stand.

If not, you can end up with issues like a messed up "optic bump" causes.

An unserviceable optic sensor is cause for IP replacement at garage level.

I'm not saying you can't do it, I'm saying you shouldn't.

If I had just paid mega bucks for a new IP, I'd be looking for a replacement one not a piece of it.

Now, if it was an old IP already on the engine and the OS crapped out I'd give replacing it a try.

I have faith Bill will figure it out and/or make it right....

Yea I should have qualified that remark. If the pump was working fine, the OP is now suspect, and is sill mechanically timed as in not moved.... odds are better bla bla
