New Family Truckster

When she pulled in at the end of the day before she ran out, you should have got in the truck and went to get more gas.
What part dont you understand?
That used to be what my wife thought, I broke her of that real quick.

Mine is now broke of it now. She now understands she is in charge of the gas and if the fuel pump goes out again for a similar reason she gets to pay for it. Since I obviously never spelled it out like that it is clearly my responsibility this time. :rolleyes5:

I fill it with propane every saturday morning, if she needs propane during the week all she has to do is take one of the other trucks and I will top her off before I head out. I havent touched the gas side since I brought it home, that was probably still the full tank I brought it home with.

I fill my gasoline tank once every 5000ish miles. I bet you can go further as you drive longer distances each day than me.
Gotta love that!

4000 miles on it since I got it but we used it on gas to pull a stock trailer for 30-40 miles and its been pretty chilly in the AM (wife leaves at 6) and she has been letting it run for ~5 min before leaving.

Truck has 9K since we got it. After doing wheel bearings we are getting 12-14mpg highway on gasoline, havent ran propane in awhile due to the price but it barely got 10.5 before on Gas. So far have started running mobile 1 5/30 Synthetic and plan to change all drivetrain components to amsoil over time. There are a few other little things that might help too like tuning, intake, and better exhaust (currently has dual 3" into the slowmaster and dual 2.5 out). I will also get a narrower tire when it comes time, 285/55 instead of 305/50 both 32's.

Still happy with the truck, just need to work on little things.
