Needs your vats turned off? VIN changed in the PCM? I'm offering "free" service.

I've got a spare PCM that won't start my truck, sitting doing nothing (Vats probably)....So I have nothing to lose, except the cost of shipping.

PM me an address, when you get a chance......Maybe this will fix my WTS ghost.

I'd love some extended "Glow time".............But I don't want to cross any "ethical boundaries."

PM sent.

I can probably turn up the min glow time a bit.

I'm not really "tuning" or stepping on anyone's toes if I do something simple like that.

At least, I don't think I am.

Guys wanting the EGR turned off and such have no worries, that's the way my stock cal that I will flash in will come. Full L65 specs from 1998, just a stock L65 program though.

Now, changing fueling or convertor lockup behavior is probably too much as I'm getting into improving how the PCM runs the engine/trans.

Maybe the forum administration could weigh in on that one?

I should have added that if the PCM is toast (failed component, "bricked", etc), I can't do anything with it...just so everyone is aware of that.

No Worries......I'm good with anything.........But if 10 or 15 seconds of glow time is a problem....."It's NO PROBLEM for me."

I'll be happy if the truck runs!

I'm taking a break from the forums for a while. Everybody gets their fill sooner or later.....

I may or may not be around to check PM's or posts in this thread.

I've set up a gmail account for those wishing programming services for 6.5 OBDII PCMs.

In order to keep the address here on the forum live (hopefully it won't be moderated out) I will be adhering to the rules for my offer of programming as were set out by the forum administration.

The only services that will be available to requests coming to the email posted in this thread will be:

1. Vin change

2. Vats deactivation

3. Glow cycle changes

4. TCC lockup behavior (offered to give OBDII guys access to the lockup that OBDI guys can get with a switch install, only seems fair).

Please don't ask for performance changes to fueling, timing, boost or transmission shifting. In respect of management's requests, I will not perform those services for requests that come through the email link below.

These services are offered free of charge under the conditions already laid out in this thread. IE: My labor is free but your shipping both ways, you buy any special vdf's, use at your own risk, no warranty implied, etc.

Email [email protected] for the services (and only those services) listed above.

see ya when I see ya......
