Need info on 6.5 stock governor, programming

80 MPH or 90 MPH can make a difference if your in a 30 - 40 MPH zone.......More than twice the speed limit is, license "suspended" + the outrageous fine and surcharge.....at least here in NY.

^Sorry Ace, I got no pity for one that goes twice the speed limit, everybody knows the risk to the wallet.if you'r prepared to do the crime, then you should be prepared to do the time. Been there done that.

He could have been in a 75MPH zone, but the point was just that it could put doubt in the officers judgement, since the officer just eyed (guessed) the speed, no use of a radar gun or tailing.

What you do is screw the attorny and do one of 2 things.

1. Write the court and ask for traffic school.

2. fight it and when the officer says he estimated/approximated your speed at X you want him to say approximate speed. When you ask him your question say it something like this. So you think I was going approximately X. He says yes. You then say, Since you approximated my speed at 90, I could have been going approximately 95. His answer yes. I could have approximatly been going 98 or even 105. He will say either no or possibly or something like that. Now go the other direction. I could have been going approximately 85, 80, 75. You then tell the judge, your honor obviously this officer isn't 100% confident in his own approximation of my speed. You could then ask the court for a demonstration if the judge doesn't dismiss. Here is where you need to know how fast something travels per foot. For example if something travels 10 feet in 2.5 seconds it equates to xx mph. Ask the judge that you would like the officer to demonstrate his estimating accuracy. You need to take a stop watch. You need to also know the distance from point a to point b in the court room and throw a crumpled piece of paper and measure how fast it goes w/ a stop watch and have the officer estimate how many mph's it is going.
