Installed my gauges today, came out pretty nice but didnt get the boost tapped yet.
Problem is when i left the shop the blinkers arent working. I did take apart the dash to get to the dimmer switch wire. Any ideas where to start looking? :mad2:
Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks

Theres a number of things that could cause it but check the obvious as stated above.

I never tap the dimmer switch if I dont have to because too many times the gauges put too much stress on it and burn it out.

You cant dim LEDs either, if thats what your gauges are.

For around the dial lighting, if somebody still wants dimming I just add a seperate dimmer usually right into the pod itself.

I always draw power for lighting from the trailer lamps under the hood.

If you want to DIM LED's for backlighting, you can either make your own pulse circuit (not easy), play with resistors (not to hard but it's easy to shorten the lifespan of your LED's if you're not careful), or buy a module... Autometer part number 9114 is a gauge LED dimmer for up to 7 gauges.

i guess i shouldve been more clear in that the LEDs wont dim with the factory switch.
