I am looking at where the tensioner is specific to the base. The belt stretch bar location if you will. I want to make sure I have the correct range with the alternator mod and vac pump delete.

I am open to ideas to make sure I have the correct belt tension. A bad 'locked up' tensioner assembly has not been ruled out.

Looks like I lost the second PS pump in a bad way again... :suicide:

Thanks. The noise turned out to be no fluid. The steering box pitman arm seal blew out. *Grumble Grumble* No-quality rebuilt parts... I have a well oiled undercarriage I swear!

Mt tensioner makes no sense. Trying to remove the belt.

the pulley moved right or left looks like it will tighten either way. Trying to do the water pump using a 18mm pipe wrench with a pipe on it.
