My Wife Nearly Killed The Burb

My wife tried to change lanes and didn't look over her shoulder and nearly killed the burb. Now the driver door has a dent the whole length of it on the lower 3rd. Now do I replace the door or fix it. I will get pics in a day or 2. Damn I am pissed.:mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2: No one was hurt. The Mustang barely had a scratch on it. Everytime you think you are getting ahead and saving money for the ATT or a GL4, something like this happens.
 
Wear a smile, Rodd... if your wife was driving a friggin Smart Car, you would be a lot more concerned than you are right now... 2 days before Christmas

Doors can be fixed, Amigo. Glad she's OK. You NEED someone to take care of you:)

i agree, glad she was in a big ol' Burban. If i was to get in a car accident, a Truck, SUV or a Short bus would be my first choices. all GM of course.:thumbsup:

(the following was typed after i dreamed for two minutes about a newer g-series cutaway short bus with a 6.5L..baking duals at a light with the lights on...)

Luckily, if salvage yards are plentiful, just find the door with the right paint and mirror, as these inner panels are easily swapped.

Like the others are saying. When accidents don't have a tragic outcome money is the first thing on our minds, but when tragedy strikes money is the least of our concerns. It stings for sure but things could have been a LOT worse! Try to look past those greens that tends to run our life and see those things that are really important.. I'm not the best at listening to that advice, but dishing it out comes easy.. ;) Hope things work out for you!
 
Wow lucky she was on the ball and did not push the mustang off the road. The Mustang Owner must of known that if he panic brakes the the auto head for the ditch feature kicks in on them.
I am Glad she is Ok.
You should be able to get a deal on a door they are the same from early 90's to 99 and the pickup ones are the same as well.
 
Glad family is alright.

You know the engine is strong, passing a mustang on the right and all :) Sounds like the mustang was lingering around the blind spot. Does your wife have those round convex stick on mirrors? (Blind Spot Mirrors)? They are the first things I install on any vehicle I have.
 
glad you wife is ok from the wreck.....just take it out on the burb when you pound out the dents...don't be to pissed at her...
 
Life is more important than material things. Sometimes we forgot about that because money controls us. Trust me, you better have a wife then a car.

i have a truck but no girl lol. sometimes i wish it was the other way around....
 
Good to hear everyone is ok!

In all honesty, I'd rather be driving the smartcar. They handle accidents WAY better than my truck.
 
Just remember vehicle are replaceable, people are not. Once they are gone, they are gone!

Thanks guy's! I was very calm the whole time. The only thing that pissed me off is she referred to the old girl as a piece of crap. It makes me wonder if subconsciously she had it in for the old girl and saw her opening and took it :D There is a gm junk yard accross town so when I get some time I'll check to see if they have one my color.
