Well i installed the gm 6.5L Lift Pump and micron filter setup today. I uses all 1/2 inch fittings and hose also i fabbed up a custom braket. I will post some pictures later. The Rail Pressure holds at 21,000 @ 2900us, I would say that is good enough for me. That tune sends the tires to smoke when it shifts into 2nd.:twisted:

Looks good. Does it go: Tank -> Lift Pump -> Filter or am I backwards? Also were you having trouble keeping the CP3 fed or is it more for insurance?

It comes from the tank to the pump , filter, then to the line that feeds the engine. I was losing rail pressure on bigger tunes and the filter is just an insurance policy.

Huh it looks like a good idea! If you just wanted more fuel pressure why did you add the filter?

Good idea though! Its definatly cheaper than doing twins. IIRC the inline pump was like $100?

I bought the pump for 140.00 but the pump can be had at your local auto parts for 50.00. I bought the pump from Kennedy because i wanted the 1/2 inch fittings that came with it.

I never knew that you Duramax guys used 6.5 parts. Very neat!
