My "Twisted" P400 build

The later 6.5s (that had oil squirters) used a higher volume pump than the earlier ones. Most noticeable difference is the taller spacer in the middle of the pump to allow bigger gears for more volume. Chris could probably tell you if it's different than the p400 one.

I had a feeling the only difference between those two was the pickup tube size

Peter, you don't need it, just a HV/HP normal pump, the one for oilier/squiter blocks, the difference is the spring and I'll take care of that when I coat the pump gears... the p pump has a different pickup.

No, I have a 4bolt here to use and I'll need to swap them over if the customer uses the screw on style. I might measure it and see if I can find a long belt and see how it works out at some point, it would save a lot of work.

His are probably ceramic coated. Finish will stay great for a long time. I always thought aluminum in an engine bay was great, but it's nearly impossible to keep looking nice. I'm painting or coating all mine.

Is this where all the coolant lines from the heads dump into the crossover?

I have cast aluminum on my Pontiac, but they don't look too good after several decades.
