My trip, the lil 6.2 that could!

Same here on the status of Bill's health. With diabetes, things can go from bad to a helluva lot worse very quickly. Glad the lapse in communication was because of a technology glitch, not a physical condition.:hurray:

Good afternoon Paul! Took last bone of toe off, not infected but bone was semi dead n not letting it heal. Shoul heal now. Go 2 doc thurs n also that af ternoon have appt with vascular specialist 2 get his blessing for surgery putting rods n toes n straightning them so this will quit happening. Hope u n urs r good

Bill says Hello(Aug 27th)

He's depressed...bone was infected...amputated the end of his toe...the doctors discovered he has almost no blood going to his legs...vascular surgeon is doing tests and cath's(?) to figure out how to fix it so he will heal...if he gets blood flow fixed and heals, then he can have an operation to put rods in his toes to strighten them and then he won't have ulcers to worry about...right now he's confined to a wheel chair...says he's fighting hard and trying to heal...just can't get motivated to get online and talk...if he gets to feeling better he'll get on the forum...

Most of all he says he misses all of you guys...


Lets keep him in our thoughts and prayers...
 
Aww man.. Bill is a classic. Hate to hear he's depressed.. If he gets back on here I bet it would help..

well that sucks, hope he gets to feeling better. a day when bill is not in the top ten of happiest forum members is not a good day.
 
Tell him we MISS him and get his one legged butt back on here! He can at least laugh at all we go through with our antique iron.
