Got my floor scrubber fully functional. So the big item was batteries, about $500 then I had to make a part that was nla. Also had to make a handle/lever for the water solution on/off. Then had to make a gasket out of foam rubber about 1/2" thick. Thought I had it going but then discovered someone had tried to glue the wrong squeegee blades on it. What a mess. Ended up using some denatured alcohol on it to get the residue off. Ordered the correct blades (took forever to get here). Got that installed and it works awesome now. Only thing I need to buy now is a 24v charger.

I have a couple projects in mind. Probably put my dually frame on it and get it cleaned up and painted. Then there's the Studebaker......

That brings back fond memories of how roasts in.my ypunger days. Many kegs of beer were involved.

More MP treasure got a pair of struts for my wife's MDX paid $160 for both, normally $175 each.
480 CFL light bulbs for $50
And finally a large welding gas bottle for $240
The light bulbs should last me hopefully my lifetime

On the gas bottle, what gas mix is it, and is it a local gas company? Here, it won't get filled unless it's a company bottle, I own mine and they weren't anywhere close to that cost, I only pay the gas cost when I exchange them...

75/25 buying the bottle is the expensive part here. When you take it in they just exchange it.

The leased bottles have raised letters on the neck of the bottle. I'm trying to get set up to Tig . I have a smaller bottle on my mig. Trying to decide which bottle to use on it. I don't know which process uses the most gas.

Usage depends, I only tig right now, it uses a lot per weld vs a mig...

So use the big bottle for tig. My small bottle is currently empty I'm thinking of trading up bigger.

Just checked and to buy this cylinder here is $493 + $157 to fill it. I'm thinking about upsizing my CO2 cylinder on my MiG and the bottle upgrade would be $243 + $97 to fill
