Just a thought, line the walls with that plastic white sheets that sometimes is used in bathrooms and kitchens for easy wipe down. with the OSB on the walls even though it's painted, when you run the lathe or grinders, what ever gets slung from them will stick to the walls.

Cylinder head station sitting where it will go. The black cabinet next to it is what I'm hoping is heavy duty enough to hold the actual valve grinding machine. I'll find out soon enough. Spent several hours cleaning the work station. Took awhile to find the right cleaner to take off what seemed to be smoke stain as well as just gunk without removing the paint. Purple power in a spray bottle and a lot of shop towels did the trick

That work station is super cool! I haven't seen one of those before. You're getting a nice collection of tools/equipment.

Valve grinder moved in. Cabinet seems strong enough. Actually spent some time looking for something better.
Seat grinder in the box under the station.Picked up these extra stones awhile back.

Now I know who to send my heads to when I need valves, stems, and seats done LOL. especially if they are cracked between the valves but still functions without coolant leaks!

LOL local engine shops won't touch anything with cracks!

Or box them, buy a air line ticket to Anchorage, use the heads as extra baggage, Les picks You up in Anchorage and you go to his place, explore His pet bears and pet mooses, pet them a little then have Les haul You back to Anchorage for the flight home, heads gets done, nother round trip.

I quit my job and cruise along.
Relief driver.
My two sons did that trip. Shifting off drivers. Vicki sent them with a couple large ziplocks of Her famous chocolate chip cookies.
They both, when getting fatigued or tired, two or three choco chip cookies and a can of mountain dew soda pop.
They said that combo really works.
Crossing over into Canada. The gal at the border asked if either ever had a DUI ?
They both replied no. She told them, sit over there, they went and sat, got scared, went back to the desk, we were not truthful to You, we both have had DUIs, she replied thank You for being honest.
They went and sat back down, she calls them over, yes I looked it up, thank You for coming forward.
Most times we turn people back that have had DUIs but I’m going to let You go through.
They was mighty thankful and offered Her some chocolate chip cookies but she said she can not accept them.

Never had that problem when we checked in at the border crossing station on the island in the middle of Bear Lake when we canoed the Boundary Waters as Boy Scouts back in 1974.
