Pulled again yesterday afternoon. Brian Randall, owner of Randall's Performance had is second annual truck pull at 34 Raceway. There wasn't a work stock class so I had to pull in the 2.6 class. There were 20 or so trucks that pulled in that class, some work stock truck and other 2.6 trucks so I knew I wasn't going to place this time. We were the first class to go and I pulled 3rd in the class. Track was a little loose and it took alot to get the sled going. The more the track got packed down through out the day the better the pulls were. Eric Merchant and Nick from Duramax Tuners were both there and got a chance to BS with them for a bit which was pretty cool to me. Anyways here is my 264.84 hook and a couple pics that the g/f took.

I was wondering about that...but the power still dragged it even at a slow pace...

one day I'll try it ...

Nice Will It's addicting isn't it?? Now you need to get some ground speed.

Very. There is one more local brush pull first weekend in September that I'm going to pull at. The track was VERY loose at first so I imagine that didn't help. One question, do you leave it in 3rd and pull or leave it in drive and let it shift up to 4th and get some more ground speed out of it?

Thanks! Try it Pep. I thought it would be really hard on the truck but even with the just the Pred on 100hp it doesn't seem that bad on it. Just be prepared to continue to do it once you've hooked because you will be hooked at it.
