Hello all,

I'm the latest new guy.

I have a Chevy 94 2500 Dually Crew and a Chevy 95 2500 Standard. Both have 6.5 turbo engines. Recently got both. Both are teaching be lots. I am looking for wife car too, hopefully a Mercedes, definately a diesel. We live in the Memphis area, and are working on WVO set up now. I don't get online hourly or anythng, but most days anyway. If you ever don't get a reply from me, send message again!

I have been focussing on the 94, worked out brake light problem, lift pump issue, now stalling on me (which is what the 95 does and I haven't even looked at it yet). After looking around here a bit, I see lots of folks having PMD issues, arrg! I noticed that this one has an aftermarket one, or at least an aftermarket mount. Any help, pointers, etc. with this truck would be greatly appreciated. I plan to keep the crew (we call the beast) for a very long time - we have 5 kids! - and the learning curve is killin me. Got this thing to run WVO, but feel like I need it to run well first!

Anyway, glad to be here! It looks like you guys are knowledgable enough to actually help, not send people on wild goose hunts, and kind enough to do so! I hope that as my experience grows, I will be able to help out, too. I fix generally anything, but no real experience on diesels, just yet.

Lots of 6.5 been there done that here welcome to the site, you best bet now is to visit the 6.5 specific area of the forum & post your problem there as you'll get most replies to problems there, yes the PMD/FSD can be problematic especially if still mounted under hood, but before going there your problem may be a simple as grounds. if you haven't found it yet our TRL http://www.thetruckstop.us/forum/forumdisplay.php?218-6.2-and-6.5-Technical-Reference-Library has most of the basic 6.5 information to get you through the basics.
